Ramya holds her Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from SRM University, India and Master of Technology in Petroleum Production Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. Currently, she is carrying out freelance Consortium services to design eco-friendly products using activated carbon and biochars and their applications in environmental studies. Her current research work comprises of disaster mangement, environmental studies, smart agriculture, energy resilient framework and process safety.
